I continued to work on the dust sim a bit more until I got it to a point where we could apply it to a scene. Personally, I think that I could use some improvements and tweaks to the overall structure. For example, the way that the texture sort of flickers is something that I'll have to look into and fine-tune. Other than that, it still functions like it's supposed to, so we should be able to use it.
I also managed to find a way to change the hue of the smoke textures so that they look sandy. I did this by diving into the material and kinda fudged around with the parameters till I was satisfied with the way that it worked.
